Sandal Days: County Fair - And I Do Mean "County"......

Okay, I've been to alot of county fairs in my life.......state fairs.....town fairs.....but today we went to the Belknap County 4-H Fair. Folks, it just doesn't get any more "county" than this........I got a million pictures which I'm going to weed down to a few of the best selected ones that I've taken so you will get to see what I saw today......Now, let me say, there wasn't much there and the fair itself wasn't that big at all. You could actually see the other side of the fair straight across the field. But it was a localized fair and I thought the $6 dollar admission fee gave me something to do today......now for some pictures.....

This was pretty much the extent of the fair vendors.....

These two were pulling 250 pounds.....awwwwww, babies....

There's the bigger boys....they are pulling 400 pounds...

I'm not sure what these birds are.....my wild guess is that they are from Alaska with all that fur...cute!

Now we are talking.....lawn mower pulling weight sleds.....oh boy!!

I just don't know what to say.....speechless about this lawn mower or tractor or whatever it is.
I'm such a city girl....

After we left there (ohhhh, we spent about an hour there), we went for lunch at Makris Seafood Restaurant because it was on the way home. And I was surprised with the race this weekend it wasn't busy. Maybe everyone was "tail-gating" it. So anyways, we stopped for lunch and I got pictures.....
