Nice Day Today

Today we went for a ride. We went to the lake and then to pick up Mom. It was hot out today so we are going out in the morning and staying in for the afternoon....I just wanted to do an updated post to show you some pictures:

Okay, maybe I caught him in mid blink, maybe he was falling sleep, heck, he could of been meditating for all I know LOL! Anyways, I almost forgot to mention that I got my mail today (which I usually do once a week since most of it is junk mail). But today the UPS Store (where I get my mail) texted me that I got a package. So we zip down there and I got my Toast Masters membership kit. Yep, I'm gonna try to work my way thru this course to improve my communication and leadership skills.......my grammar and spelling skills is another whole project LOL! :)

So I have a Toast Masters class tonight so these books go to me just in time to bring them to class tonight. So that will be how I finish my day off today. Tomorrow I have a Pickleball game. I've played twice so far and I love it. I played Monday and I lost the first game and I won the second game. Don't know what Pickleball is?? Here ya go: http://usapa.org/whatis_pball/index.php

Happy Spring 2012

Ahhhhhh, spring is here and you know what that means! :) Flowers are growing, birds are sings, yes, and it's time for shopping and shopping is what I did. I start this spring's blog entry with a pair of new 2012 Earth Spirits sandals, which was the same brand as the old ones I was using last year, but these new ones just came out in store and I'm breaking down the door to get, not only get one, but two pairs! They are sooooo comfy. I'm tell you, if you want to walk around like you are walking on a soft cushion clouds all day, this are the shoes to do that in. My old pair of sandals I used in Florida, Texas, Yuma, Laughlin, Las Vegas, and everywhere else! I sure put alot of miles on the sandals and it was time for a 2012 upgrade, let me show you:

After that Jake and I went to the lake to hang around and I gave him a small haircut that he needed, he was getting quite shaggy. So here he is relaxing:

Then we went for a walk near the lake :)
