Typical Low Keyed Day.....

Hi! Well, I've been moving thru the last two days low keyed and predictably. This morning I enjoyed my walking group and we walked for 1 hour and 15 minutes.....hmmmm, not sure how many miles that is, but it was very enjoyable. Half the walking time I spend talking to others around me, and half the walking time (usually the trek back to the car) I listen to my Blackberry App Pandora tailored to my favorite music. Tomorrow I'm going to join my walking group at a local tennis court to play PickleBall......I'm going to try this game out and what it's all about :) I'm hoping to snap some pictures of this game too to show you what it's all about.

This afternoon I napped on the sofa and watched TV, okay, maybe some internet surfing! :) OH, and I mailed out the paperwork to get Jake certificate for passing the "AKC Canine Good Citizen" test that he passed with flying colors last Saturday at the Animal Rescue League PetStep pet walk event. I had to mail in $8 with the form to get the certificate, and then I'll get the AKC tags for this collar. He loves to brags about his accomplishments......okay, maybe, I brag about his well-doings too! OH, and, you won't believe this, Jake can now have (I had to Google this word) "post-nominal letters" after his name. Don't shake your head yet. I would like you to meet Jake, CGC. Nice ring to it huh, before you write me off as Crazy! HA!

And then tonight, Jake and I hopped in the car and off we went to see Zoey. We met up with Zoey at a local PetCo store and we had a good time exploring the store and saying Hi to other dogs. At the store Zoey's Mom told me all about another dog event coming up next Saturday: Walktoberfest at the Budweiser Plant in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Hosted by the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. There will be a morning dog Walk-a-Thon followed by a day of fun, food, and entertainment for the whole family, including dogs. Click HERE or more information. I hope you have a nice night! :)

Pre Weekend.....

Hi! Well, the more time I have off, the more I see more things (activities, fairs, events) going on around me that I can attend and get some pictures. I want to go to a small fair tomorrow and take some pictures. I never had the ambition or time to enjoy the summer activities because I had a "time demanding" job. It was hard to make plans when I didn't have a "clock out time" and didn't know if I was working Saturdays until Friday afternoon. I not complaining about my job, I'm venting about setting summer time fun on the back burner for a job that took up a large (very large) percentage of my week. This is a total 180 degree turn to what I'm use to and I'm not going to waste it away. I've been getting some work done here at home that I don't want to get into on a blog, but it's been moving along nicely.

Okay, today, let me tell you about today! :)  We (my Mom, Dad, and I) woke up early this morning (very early) and headed down to Rhode Island to Twin Rivers Casino to enjoy some play time on the slot machines. I hit alot of bonus rounds on some slot machines, but I also broke alot of slot machines too. Weird. I think I met the whole technical team. I played on a Power Strike slot machine (which is my favorite slot machine and after hitting the max bet twice, the screen displayed a message to me saying Machine Malfunction.......grrrrrrrrrr......wait a minute, I understand computers, trust me, I do, BUT, I swear (just this feeling I got) that that slot machine was going to pay the big jackpot and.....and.....and it just went on the blink.....but this is as far as I got for a payout......

Gosh, I got so excited about my 27,150 pennies I took the picture a little sideways.......hahahaha!!! Anyways, this evening, I went to dinner with my Mom, Dad, cousin, and his wife at TGIFridays. I like that place, but it wasn't my first choice to eat.......I can think of other places I like better, oh, like Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse or even Applebee's. I like Applebee's alot.

Oh, let's see what else here. It's a quiet night. I'm trying to determine if I'm going to warm up to the new Karoke reality show that is on tonight.....I forgot the name of it......but I've never seen it before. Enjoy your night. I'm ready with my camera wherever I may wander tomorrow..... :)
