Mall Of New Hampshire

I could really get use to this retired life. No schedule, no plans, no agenda. This morning, we decided to walk the Mall Of NH. This mall opens at noon on Sundays, but we was there before it opened. It was very nice and peaceful and I got some pictures of some of my favorite stores.....come on, let's walk and I'll show you around :)

 Well, that was my day. And the rest of the day I stayed home. My cousin and his wife stopped by today and visited with us. Knew there was a reason for the visit, he had to tell us about his brand new GMC pick up truck that they bought and is picking up on Monday from the dealership. LOL! Then NASCAR started on TV and with 153 laps to go, I'll finish that then switch over to football, it will be a quiet night. Hey, we have some corn on the cob in the fridge.....good idea for dinner :) Hope you have a good night.....bug ya tomorrow! :)

Walktober Fest!

Hello! :) Today was a rainy day, so we waited and waited for the rain to let up a tad to head over to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua Walktober Fest that was being held at the Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser) plant in Merrimack, New Hampshire! I had to carry Jake the whole time we were there because it was very muddy since most of the vendors were set up in the field off the walkway. That was okay with me as long as Jake's paws didn't get dirty and at 8 pounds he was easy to tote around in my arm. I'm thinking of getting one of those pet tote bags to carry him in, but I'm thinking the training for him to stay in that thing would cost me about a bottle and a half worth of aspirins. Anyways, we seemed to of missed some of the events today including the benefit walk and some of the competitive shows such as the Disc Dogs (no, not a musical group, lol, dogs chasing a flying disc and jumping up and catching it in the air). There were alot of vendors there and we picked up a couple of freebies alot of way, like a chip bag clip, canned food covers, and some insurance company was passing out pedometers (I can use that when I go walking with my walking group). Zoey's Mom and Dad went earlier in the day and texted me to say they were leaving since they all were soak and wet from the rain. We will have to catch up with them again soon :) I got pictures today......yeah, of course I did.....

beach and we live on the 3rd floor with no elevator), we
