Who turned the temperature up?

I had heard on the news today that there was 17 states today that had temperatures over 100 degrees......and yep, we were one of them.......

Tap Tap Tap......is that thing right??

My buddy Jake was laying around the house for the past two or three days......he hasn't gotten out too much, so he's been lounging around the living room alot with the air conditioner.....

"Hello!"

So, I gave him a bath yesterday.....so he is super furry and his fur is super soft......so we got out of the house today......there's a shaded path in a neighboring town and we took a walk up and down the bike path.......of course I forgot my camera so these two pictures below, I took with my Blackberry.......

So it's my birthday today (yes, an after thought - Ha!).....the older you get, the less you want to think about it......since it was hot outside, I didn't do too much today. Other than a walk with Jake, my parents took me to an early dinner at Ruby Tuesdays (Ruby Tuesday's non-alcoholic mango iced tea is to die for, so delicious) and I got a gift card to Barnes and Nobles (I love reading) and a couple of (hopefully lucky) lottery tickets :) That was my day today.....it was uneventful but I got some pictures for ya.....Have a good night :)
