Touch A Truck

Today I went a local school charity event called "Touch A Truck". Jake wasn't feel all that up to it with all the allergy medication he is on, so I left him laying on the sofa relaxing, then this evening I brought him to the park for a walkie and he was happy. We are (most likely according to the news channels on TV) staying inside tomorrow due to the threat of a hurricane, so Jake and I will be watching TV and I'm still working on making Jake do the "Paw" trick to give me his paw for a treat, we are working on alot of new tricks (still working on "roll over" too, maybe tomorrow I'll get on the floor and show him how it's done LOL!)....Okay, so that was my day today......I know what you are waiting for.....pictures! :)

So that was my day today. The weather today (during the day) was nice - it hit 80 degrees and I had a t-shirt on most of the day.....you can see by the pictures it was a nice day. It started raining around this evening and now it's just a matter of waiting for Hurricane Irene to pass by and move on.....Have a great night. Hmmmmm, not sure what I'm going to blog about tomorrow since I won't venture out, I'll most likely dig something up! :)

Hampton Beach Tonight......

Today was a productive day with a relaxing night.......I got this surge of energy from somewhere this morning and cleaned my bedroom. First I attacked my closet........ugh.....the clothes I use to fit into....I would love to keep them cause, you know, maybe, someday......*wishful thinking* :). Anyways, one trash bag of clothes went to the GoodWill. And when I was done with that, I had a few things laying around that I wanted to throw away, so one trash bag of junk when to the trash bin. I had a lazy boy chair in my room, that was really, if anything, only in the way. I was using it to stash stuff on (mail, clothes, more junk), there was no need of it, so out with the lazy boy chair. I delivered that chair to our first floor tenant who happily accepted it. So, that's not too bad, one bag of clothes, one bag of trash, one big blue chair all out the door :) Maybe I'll do it again tomorrow LOL!

Tonight, we went to Hampton Beach and let me tell you, lucky I took my camera! Wow, you never know what going to happen until you get there. I guess (if I got the story straight from onlookers) that there was a fire in Worcester, Massachusetts a few years ago that took the life of six fire fighters. Well, one of the fire fighters that died is the brother to a restaurant owner on the Hampton Beach main strip. The owner (brother) always has an annual memorial for the fire fighters who died that day and today I got to see that memorial.....just amazing!!!!
