Mom's Birthday

Well, today was my Mom's turn. My birthday was last month and today is her birthday. First we started the day off visiting her brother that lives in East Kingston......we had a nice visit with him and saw his new apartment. There were still alot of boxes to unpack. He's so busy, 1) I'm surprised we caught up with him, and 2) I bet those boxes will still be sitting there come fall season.....

Outside is a nice area and we brought Jake with us for our visit and I found a little guard dog......I'm not sure if he was friendly......didn't dare go near him.....

So after we left there, the visit lasted a couple of hours......we came back home and Mom, Dad, and I went out to dinner at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant.......I didn't bring my camera with me, but got a shot of the free dessert with my Blackberry.....

Happy Birthday Mom!

For her birthday, my sister got her a Macy's department store gift card and a scratch ticket and I got Mom a gift certificate at a pottery place called "You're Fire" where you can paint pottery and they will fire it for you......I can't wait to go! Hang on, let me see if they have a website.....ahhhh, here it is HERE. So other than that, it's was a nice day. OH, and I finished the night off watching the end of the Red Sox vs Yankees where the Red Sox won 10 - 4 YAY! Have a great night. I'll be back tomorrow and I have nothing in the planner, so who knows what I'll blog about tomorrow! :)

Hampton Beach And Good Company

Tonight we went to Hampton Beach (Jake, I, Mom, and Dad). We have family that that lives at Hampton Beach (my Dad's brother which would be my uncle and aunt). So we parked the Kia on their property and went for a walk around Hampton Beach.......I'm happy I grabbed my camera and got some shots on how Hampton Beach looks in it's reconstruction period........

They made some new outdoor showers for people to rinse off their feet and the drain isn't working
and the gravity is taking the water down the walkway.....they will have to fix that...

Tonight (Wednesday nights) is fireworks nights at 9:30
We didn't stay that long to watch the fireworks (I personally never cared for fireworks)

This is the Hampton Beach boulevard....for a Wednesday night it was quiet busy.....

This is the new concert area under construction.....someday it will be done....and very nice to visit

Lockers are available for your convenience - Not sure how much they cost to rent.....

And again, another clogged up drain so the water is gravitating towards the parking lot.....

This is the temporary concert area until they finish the bigger one that is currently under construction....

We are back at my Uncle and Aunt's house (walking distance to the beach)
They bought this at a flea market....I liked it.....

Time to play some games in the yard.....I think I won....but not sure.... :)

Man! Sooooo close!!!!

Look real close - Jake pointed out that there was a real live bunny under the chair....
Jake wanted to introduce himself, but for me, it was a bad idea.... :)

Poor Jake is falling asleep......

Then we played another game.....not sure what it was called, but the point is to get to 21 points :)

Well, we had a good time and I'm glad i got a lot of pictures......tomorrow we have some business to take care of (that I won't mention on here )......if anything else exciting happens tomorrow, I'll be back to tell you all about it! :) Have a good day!
